We’re so excited to finally introduce you to our newest injections specialist, Deborah Strang! Whether you’re a newbie to Botox or a seasoned injection filler pro, Deborah is here to walk you through your best treatment options and help you achieve the look you want. Whether you want to look subtly rested and refreshed, or add a bit more va-va-voom to your lips (or hey, why not both?) she’s got the expertise you’re looking for.
Deborah comes with a long list of credentials and highly qualified experience as a nurse in many different medical settings. She is a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario and has spent the past two decades working in many different areas of nursing, including neuro and ortho rehabilitation as well as sleep apnea. She has worked in a variety of areas including operating room nursing and pre and post-surgical care in her role as Nurse Manager of a fully accredited Plastic Surgery facility.
In addition to her membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario, she holds ACLS Certification and is also a member of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic specialty nurses.
She learned the art and science of injecting BOTOX® in 2006 directly from its creators, Allergan. In 2007, she received extensive training in the Art and Science of injectables through accredited education and has been actively and passionately working in the Aesthetic industry since 2006. Deborah specializes in all areas of cosmetic injections—ideal qualifications for your nurse injector, as different treatments working in tandem often create the result our patients want. She believes in sculpting one’s natural beauty rather than chasing lines.
In addition, Deborah has attended specialized training with world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Mauricio DeMaio and has completed 4 levels of training of MD codes as well as ongoing Aesthetic training with some of the most distinguished physicians and Surgeons in the Aesthetic field. And as with all of the nurses who work at The Plastic Surgery Clinic, Deborah has undergone a rigorous training process to ensure that she meets the strict guidelines and high standards set by Dr. Lista, Dr. Ahmad and Dr. Austin.
