What is The Essential Facial?

The Essential Facial is a traditional facial that is a step down in intensity from our Miracle 10 facial peel treatment. The purpose is to really deeply cleanse and hydrate the skin, to stimulate blood flow and circulation with a relaxing massage, decrease inflammation and improve the overall tone and quality of the skin. The Essential Facial is also meant to be a treatment that relaxes the body and mind while simultaneously providing excellent skincare benefits.

Although, we will likely recommend our Miracle 10 facial peel treatment to more aggressively treat skin conditions such as melasma, rosacea and acne, The Essential Facial is a great introduction to facials and is a treatment that can be done anytime, as often as you like, and works well in combination with more advanced treatments such as skin tightening and resurfacing treatments Morpheus8 and Forma. It can also be done only one week following a Botox treatment or Miracle 10 facial peel treatment.

The Essential Facial is also great for anyone, whether you’re a pregnant or nursing mom, a teen battling breakouts, or simply someone who has never tried out a facial before, and is looking for a gentle introduction to one.

It’s also safe for all skin types and tones and can be done all year round (no need to worry about avoiding the sun).

What to Expect During Your Essential Facial Treatment

The Essential Facial is a 60 minute traditional facial with the aim of cleansing and revitalizing the skin and also offering a moment to de-stress and relax.

When you arrive for your treatment you will first be asked to change into a comfortable gown. Once you’ve changed and are ready, your provider will begin the treatment by cleansing your skin with a Miracle 10 cleanser conducive to your skin type.  They will then proceed to gently exfoliate the skin with Enzyme.

Once your skin is prepped, your provider will talk to you about your skin type and condition and about any concerns that you might have. This will allow your provider to accurately customize the skincare products used during the treatment to your particular skin type and to your goals.

After your consultation you will have a 20 minute massage of the face, neck, and décolleté, using a number of customized Miracle 10 skincare products. The massage will be done with the lights out to ensure full relaxation and decompression.

If you and your provider discussed the need for any extractions, this will follow the massage, followed by the application of Solution or CO2.

Your provider will then apply our soothing and gentle Miracle 10 Mask, and end the treatment with the application of stem cell serum and one of our moisturizers best suited to your skin type.

The Essential Facial only uses skincare products with mild active ingredients, so you don’t need to worry about any downtime after this treatment.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

For individuals who are getting their first introduction into facials, we’ll typically recommend a series of 10 Essential Facial treatments spaced 1 week apart, and then monthly maintenance treatments.

However, this is a treatment that can be done as often as you like or less, depending on what your schedule allows for. You might try The Essential Facial and decide it’s not for you, or you may really enjoy its skincare and relaxing benefits and make it a part of your weekly routine. It really just depends on your individual preferences.

The Essential Facial costs $170 per treatment or $799 for a series of 6 treatments.
