A mini facelift (or mini-lift) is a procedure that gives patients significant improvement in their appearance while minimizing the scars, reducing the bruising, and shortening the downtime associated with a full facelift.
A mini facelift is designed for younger facelift patients, typically in their forties, who only need a small amount of tightening of the face, normally along the jaw line. One of the first signs of aging is looseness or laxity of the jawline, cheek, and neck. A mini facelift tightens these problem spots with much less scarring and bruising than a full facelift. The forehead and the area around the eyes are not remodeled.
This procedure has the additional advantage of being easily repeated in five to ten years in order to maintain a fresh and rested look without resulting in a sudden, dramatic change in appearance.
Experience and Innovation to Improve Patient Outcomes
Performing a mini facelift procedure requires a skilled and experienced surgeon. At The Plastic Surgery Clinic we perform approximately 30 mini facelift operations per year. Consequently, Dr. Lista, Dr. Ahmad and Dr. Austin are among the most experienced facelift surgeons in Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Lista, Dr. Ahmad and Dr. Austin will listen carefully to your goals and help you determine whether a mini facelift is the right procedure for your situation. They are proud to have helped hundreds of Toronto patients realize their dreams of a natural, relaxed, younger-looking face. Recognizing that many individuals feel apprehensive about undergoing a facelift, these surgeons conduct personal consultations, during which time they explain to you exactly how your facelift procedure is performed and what results it helps achieve.

Before and After Mini Facelift Photos
If you are beginning to research the mini-facelift procedure, chances are that you are seeking out before and after photos. While these kinds of photos do not guarantee or indicate the result that you will personally achieve, they are a good demonstration of other outcomes and transformations that our surgeons have accomplished at The Plastic Surgery Clinic.
We value our patients’ privacy, and as you can likely understand, not everyone is comfortable presenting photos of their plastic surgery results in public. Since we recognize what a useful learning tool they are, our surgeons will provide you with a collection of before and after mini facelift photos during your free consultation at our clinic that patients have consented to share privately. You’ll be able to look through a variety of different results, and to compare them with the results of standard facelifts so that you can see how these procedures can produce different outcomes. Our surgeons can also answer your questions to help you get a better understanding of realistic expectations you can have for this surgery.
Cost of a Mini Facelift
At The Plastic Surgery Clinic we do not practice one-size-fits-all surgery, which is why we don’t publish a one-price-fits-all cost. Many things can affect the price of a mini facelift, and your plastic surgeon will outline the details of the procedure (personalized to you), as well as the cost, during your free consultation. One thing we can say, definitively, is that so many of our patients have experienced such a positive transformation that they feel their investment was worth every nickel. It is important to note that most provincial health plans, OHIP, and company benefits do not cover voluntary plastic surgery procedures, but there are different financing options available so that you can achieve your goals now.
