FaceTite & AccuTite

Target mild to moderate skin laxity anywhere on the face and neck with these new and effective sub-dermal radiofrequency treatments, for tighter and firmer skin, as well as an overall defined, contoured, and lifted look.

What is FaceTite & AccuTite?

FaceTite and AccuTite are semi-invasive treatments that use radiofrequency technology sub-dermally (below the service of the skin) in order to address skin laxity, resulting in a targeted tightening and contouring of the skin. The treatment works by contracting collagen fibres and reducing tissue, making the skin firmer and tighter. It also stimulates a wound healing response in the body, which stimulates the production of collagen and encourages new healthy skin cell turnover that in turn maintains your result for a long period of time. We tend to see approximately 70% in tissue reduction following treatment.

The treatment is often used in combination with radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL), especially in areas such as the neck, also known as NeckTite, and jowls, which has the extra capability to target small pockets of unwanted fat. FaceTite combined with liposuction will often achieve a more dramatic result and more definition especially in the lower face.

FaceTite is primarily used to treat skin laxity in areas such as the chin, cheeks, jowls, and neck. AccuTite works in exactly the same way as FaceTite only that it has the unique capability to target smaller, more delicate areas of the face, neck, and body. On the face this includes areas such as the upper and lower eyelids, the brows, the nasolabial folds, smile lines, jawline, and jowls. Whereas on the body, AccuTite can target skin laxity and fat on areas such as the knees, upper arms, the back (particularly the bra roll), and the hands.

What Should I Expect during my FaceTite & AccuTite Treatment?

During your treatment you’ll be offered a local anesthetic. Once the anesthetic takes effect your provider will make a very small incision in order to insert the very fine cannula or probe just underneath the surface of the skin in the area being targeted. They will then heat the tissue underneath the surface of the skin with radiofrequency technology. Your doctor will determine the optimal temperature for you.

Depending on whether you are getting AccuTite or FaceTite and what area you’re treating, the procedure can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour.

You’ll need to account for some downtime following each of these treatments. You can expect to have some bruising and swelling following each treatment. Swelling should subside within a week or so of your treatment, and any bruising can last for up to two weeks. You’ll also need to avoid strenuous exercise for about a week following your treatment. You can expect about 4-5 days of downtime following FaceTite, and 2-3 days of downtime following AccuTite.

You’ll be able to see a noticeable improvement in the tightness and firmness of your skin after about a week following your treatment. You’ll see about 70% of your result after approximately 6 weeks with your final and best results visible within 3-4 months following your treatment.

The Best Candidates for FaceTite & AccuTite

We find that the best candidates for FaceTite or AccuTite are patients who are looking for a targeted approach in order to tighten mild to moderate amounts of loose skin but who still have good skin elasticity and bone structure in areas of the face and neck. Candidates might also have mild to moderate amounts of excess fat in these areas as well.

FaceTite and AccuTite are also great treatments for anyone looking for a less invasive way to treat skin laxity, or who may not need or be quite ready for surgical intervention.

The results of FaceTite and AccuTite are extremely effective for the right candidate but won’t offer as dramatic a result as surgery.
