Non-Surgical Butt Lift

Like any other part of the body, the bum is an important feature that can really define your shape. A rounded and balanced buttocks gives the whole body a lovely proportional quality, and most importantly, feeling good about the way you look from behind is a real confidence booster.

You can now improve the look and shape of your buttocks without surgery with a non-surgical butt lift also known as the Sculptra butt lift.

What is a Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

The non-surgical butt lift or Sculptra butt lift is an injectable filler treatment for the bum. It’s a treatment that adds volume to the behind, but also tightens moderately lax skin, smooths out textural irregularities as well as sculpts and contours.

The non-surgical butt lift also stimulates the production of collagen, as well as works to strengthen and regenerate tissue, elements which maintain the results of your treatment for a long period of time.

This treatment is typically performed with two different types of stimulatory dermal fillers: Sculptra and Radiesse. Both fillers trigger the body to produce collagen in the area that they have been injected.

Sculptra is a dermal filler that is poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) based and its primary goal is to jump start collagen production as opposed to filling the bum with volume. Sculptra also builds scar tissue which in turn is what naturally builds subtle volume in the buttocks as well as improving on its overall structure and shape.

Radiesse which is calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) based works similarly to Sculptra in stimulating collagen production, but it also fills the bum with volume, providing you with a more instantaneous result than the Sculptra butt lift, which you have to be more patient with before you see optimal results. Radiesse however will produce less collagen over time than Sculptra.

We take a very individualized approach to your non-surgical butt lift treatment, so the filler that we will ultimately use, Sculptra or Radiesse, will depend on your anatomy and also on the results that you are seeking out. This will be determined and discussed during your complimentary consultation.

What Should I Expect During My Non-Surgical Butt Lift Treatment?

The non-surgical butt lift treatment is just like any injectable treatment you would have for the face. It takes on average 30-60 minutes, and you can expect minimal to no downtime.

You may see some swelling, redness or bruising at the sites of injection, and your bum might feel a little tender following treatment, but generally you can return to your regular activities following treatment.

Your provider may recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise for about 24-48 hours following your treatment.

Depending on the filler used for your non-surgical butt lift treatment, your provider may give you with guidelines for massaging the area following your session, in order to avoid the formation of any nodules.

If your non-surgical butt lift was performed with Radiesse then you will most likely be able to see the results of your treatment almost immediately following your session with a subtle increase in volume.

That said optimal results for both types of non-surgical butt lifts, Radiesse and the Sculptra butt lift, typically take about 3-4 weeks to appear, with full results showing a few weeks after your final treatment session, and these results will only continue to improve over several months after final treatment.

The Best Candidates for a Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

A non-surgical butt lift is an effective treatment for anyone looking to add volume to and improve on the overall shape of their buttocks. A non-surgical butt lift can also fill in so-called “hip dips,” depressions between the hip and the thigh, giving the bum a more even and rounded appearance.

The non-surgical butt lift also effectively tightens the skin on the bum, and gives the buttocks a more sculpted and contoured appearance.

That being said, we like to remind anyone interested in a non-surgical butt lift that the results, although effective for the right candidate, are subtle. Patients should not expect results similar to a surgical butt lift result where fat is harvested from one area of the body and re-injected into target areas of the buttocks.

The non-surgical butt lift is really for individuals seeking to give the bum a bit more shape in a subtle way, without the need for surgery.

How Much Does it Cost?

The cost of a non-surgical butt lift will be determined during your complimentary consultation. Everyone is different, and the number of vials and treatment sessions that you’ll need really depends on your anatomy and what you’re looking to achieve.

Typically most patients will require anywhere from 1-3 treatment sessions to start, with anywhere from 5-10 vials injected per treatment. Treatments are spaced out on average 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.

How Long Does a Non-Surgical Butt Lift Last?

A non-surgical butt lift lasts anywhere from 2-5 years, and we typically recommend maintenance treatments every 2 years.
