Scientific Breast Reduction Article Published by Dr. Lista & Co-Author

In the April 2008 edition of the reputable Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, Dr. Lista of The Plastic Surgery Clinic and his colleague published a peer reviewed article on the vertical scar technique used in breast reduction surgery. In their experience with more than 1700 cases, these surgeons recognized a trend in the improved long-term projection of reduced breasts where this technique was involved.

Their research in this article objectively measured the scientific proof of these observations, demonstrating that the long-term placement of the nipple remained significantly higher. Because of this research, Dr. Lista and his co-author have perfected their skin marking technique to create a perfectly natural looking result unique to their expertise.
