We’re so excited to announce an incredible new technology acquired by our sister company MD Beauty Clinic (the non-surgical arm of The Plastic Surgery Clinic). It arrived just before before COVID-19 so we haven’t been able to share all the details until now! But we’ve had a chance to test drive it and oh, is it ever a beauty! This new platform brings a few incredible new modalities to the clinic, and improves on some older technologies.
With its four different hand pieces we are now offering the following new and/or improved treatments, all of which are safe for ALL skin types (yes!):
We are excited about ALL of these treatments, and there are so many reasons why. First and foremost, this machine works effectively on all skin types. This is a huge priority for us as we on-board new technologies. We want to ensure that the treatments we provide and the trainers we work with prioritize the outcomes for all skin types equally.
We have that with InMode. The Diolaze hair removal is superb. It’s very comfortable and treatments are done in about half the time as it took with our old device. The Lumecca and Forma hand pieces are equally as fantastic and we can’t wait to start treating you all with these modalities.
What has us really excited is the Morpheus8. It works by combining deep sub-dermal microneedling with radio frequency. It targets the adipose fat of the skin, making it capable of remodeling and contouring both the face and body. It’s particularly effective when targeting areas typically associated with sagging and jowling. It can be used on the face, neck or body. There are a few days of social downtime with this treatment. The skin may appear red and bumpy for a few days, but that should subside quickly.
What makes the Morpheus so effective is how deeply the microneedling penetrates. Most devices go to a depth of about .5 of a millimeter. The Morpheus 8 goes down 4-5 millimeters, and the tips of the needles are coated so that the surface of the skin is not damaged.
How many treatments you receive really depends on your skin condition and your goals. Some individuals just need one treatment, and some need 3 spread out every 4 weeks.
