We are pleased to announce that our very own Dr. Jamil Ahmad has been named to the Board of Directors of the Rhinoplasty Society. The Rhinoplasty Society – a group that consists of surgeons throughout the world who specialize in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the nose – is a prestigious organization dedicated to the education of surgeons interested in nasal contouring and nasal surgery. Many of the world’s most respected surgeons are members of this society and they are dedicating their efforts as educators to improve the quality of rhinoplasty surgery worldwide.
Members of the Rhinoplasty Society are qualified surgeons who have gone through an extensive vetting process. They are considered innovators in their field and deeply committed to aesthetic and reconstructive nasal surgery. Moreover, members must be board certified by one of the following: The American Board of Plastic Surgery, The American Board of Otolaryngology, The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery or an equivalent foreign examining board.
As the Co-Editor of both textbooks Dallas Rhinoplasty – Nasal Surgery by the Masters, 3rd Ed. and Secondary Rhinoplasty by the Global Masters, Dr. Ahmad is an expert rhinoplasty surgeon. Dr. Ahmad has been invited to lecture about rhinoplasty around the world. Dr. Ahmad is best known for his natural results making him highly sought after by patients of all ethnicities. He performs both primary and secondary or revision rhinoplasty. Not only is he sought after for his expertise in rhinoplasty but also for the outstanding results he delivers in facial rejuvenation procedures, breast surgery, body contouring after weight loss, liposuction, and revisional aesthetic surgery.
In addition to being the only plastic surgeon in Canada to complete his residency training at the world renowned Department of Plastic Surgery, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Dr. Ahmad is the first Canadian to be on the Board of Directors for the Rhinoplasty Society. Additionally, he is only the second Canadian to serve on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
