Drs. Lista & Ahmad Publish Seminal Article on Breast Reduction

The January 2012 issue of the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery features a highly influential article on repeated breast reduction authored by Dr. Lista and Dr. Ahmad of The Plastic Surgery Clinic. The article examines outcomes following repeated breast reduction surgeries that follow the vertical scar breast reduction technique. Their conclusive research determines that using vertical scar breast reduction for a second procedure is a safe technique even when the initial technique used in the first surgery is unknown. They also concluded that liposuction is an important supplemental technique in repeated breast reduction as it is able to reduce volume while limiting the amount of dissection needed at the site of incision.
